2023 GMC Acadia for Sale in Springfield, MA
Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Economy
GMC makes the 2023 Acadia in a quartet of trims: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The SLE and SLT are both supplied with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that whisks out 228 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, but the SLT is eligible for upgrading to the 3.6-liter V6 that comes standard in the AT4 and Denali. That engine produces 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard in all but the AT4, which is only made with all-wheel drive. (AWD is available for the other trims). A drive mode selector with multiple settings is included on all configurations, with variations in the settings for FWD versus AWD models. Hill descent control and hill start assist are standard features on every Acadia to increase capability on challenging surfaces such as loose stone.
The ’23 Acadia gives its driver respectable fuel economy, too. The 2.0-liter models with FWD return an EPA-estimated 22 mpg around town and 29 mpg on the highway, while the 2.0-liter models with AWD achieve 22 city/27 highway. The V6 variants return 19 city/27 highway with FWD, and 19 city/26 highway with AWD. If your plans call for towing, the ’23 Acadia with the 2.0-liter turbo can manage up to 3,300 pounds, whereas the V6 versions can tow a maximum of 4,000 lb.

The base SLE is supplied with premium features like LED headlights, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, keyless entry and ignition, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a trio of USB ports (two type-A and one type-C). The AT4 ups the performance ante with the standard AWD and the more powerful engine as mentioned. It also gets 17-inch all-terrain tires, gloss-black roof rails, and black center wheel caps with a red GMC logo. The signature Denali tops the range with side mirrors with position memory (it’s also auto-dimming on the driver’s side), an 8-inch configurable digital gauge cluster, ventilated front seats with passenger power adjustments and driver position memory, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, and a wireless phone charger.
Sophisticated Safety Technologies
All trims are provided with a range of sophisticated driving aids, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, front and rear parking sensors, lane change alert with side blind-zone alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a rear seat reminder, and automatic high beams. The SLT and remaining trims add a unique Safety Alert Seat that pulses in the direction of a potential obstacle so you can alter your course to avoid collision. Not only that, but those trims come with Teen Driver technology, a system that helps to reinforce good habits in beginning drivers.
The ’23 Acadia is stocked with cutting-edge infotainment features. The SLE’s consists of an 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth (for hands-free phone use and audio streaming), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The SLT and above trims gain navigation and a posh Bose stereo system with eight speakers.
GMC offers quite a lot of optional packages for the 2023 Acadia (Trailering, Driver Convenience, Infotainment, Technology, Preferred, Denali Technology, and Denali Ultimate). All four trims are eligible for the Trailering Package, which adds a 7-pin wiring harness, a Class III hitch, a heavy-duty cooling system, a 170-amp alternator, and Hitch Guidance (this pairs with Hitch View on the SLT, AT4, and Denali). The Driver Convenience Package is offered only for the SLE and it includes remote start, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, a hands-free liftgate, a 120-volt power outlet, and roof rails. The Infotainment Package (also solely for the SLE) installs navigation and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.
The Technology Package, which can be ordered on the SLT and AT4, comes with a head-up display and a surround-view camera system. Those two trims qualify for the Preferred Package, too, which provides a power driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, power-folding and driver’s-side auto-dimming side mirrors, and a heated steering wheel. The Denali Technology Package will issue a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and a rear camera mirror with washer. The Denali Ultimate Package contains a dual-panel moonroof, the contents of the Trailering Package, and adaptive ride control for models with AWD.
